In a series of pictures shared on Wednesday, July 25 on Facebook by one Comr Salisu Ibrahim Kwa, it showed a supposed supporter of drinking muddy water.
It was not clear whether he did it in sheer excitement or the fulfilment of a promise to someone.
Meanwhile, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano state, says the defection of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso from All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a welcome idea.
He however urged Kwankwaso, a former governor too, to abide by the rules.
A report by Daily Trust says Shekarau, though a founding member of the APC, had to leave the party to PDP when Kwankwaso was asked to lead the ruling party after his defection close to the 2015 election.
The report said while speaking through his media aide, Sule Ya’u Sule, Shekarau, now the leader of the PDP in Kano, said he hoped Kwankwaso had changed.
