Meet Mo Molemi, the rapper who gave up music to start farming
For those who say a person can only be one thing in life has never met Mo Molemi, the rapper who also farms. He exchanged his music career for life on the farm nearly 18-years-ago and despite being a rapper by trade, his farming is still going strong.
ZAlebs reported Mo Molemi appeared on SABC 2’s agriculture show Living Land a while back, where he explained the importance of South Africans practicing farming.
The former rapper made the switch long before the ANC started talking about expropriation of land without compensation, and he is proof that anyone can become a farmer if they work hard enough.

Taking to Twitter, a social media user identified as Leyton Mokgerepi shared Mo Molemi’s story with his 17 500 followers and needless to say, South Africans were inspired.
“The rapper Mr Mo Molemi leaves music for farming.....He's still one of the dopest rapper to ever grab the mic,” Mokgerepi captioned the post, which included several pics of Mo Molemi’s products and farm.
Despite being in the agricultural industry for almost two decades, the rapper did not forget his roots.
