The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) have released nominees for the 2018 men's best player.
The world football governing body shortlisted 10 footballers that made eye-catching performances for their respective teams between 3, July, 2017 and 15, July, 2018.
The selected players all represented their respective countries at the just concluded World Cup in Russia.
Top of list are Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina's Lionel Messi, then Belgium's duo of Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard made the list.

France's Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Raphael Varane with Croatia's Luka Modric and England'Harry Kane also made the cut.
Egypt's Mohamed Salah completes the 10-man list for who would emerge FIFA best player for 2018.
Five-time Ballon d'or winners, Ronaldo and Messi are still in good position following their performances last season.
Messi won the league and cup double for Barcelona while Ronaldo won the Champions League for the third consecutive time with Real Madrid.

French duo of Griezmann and Mbappe also stand a chance as both strikers were pivotal to Les Bleus World Cup triumph.
Russia 2018 Golden Ball winner, Modric, is also a strong contender after leading his country to a second place finish and a third European title with Los Blancos.
Hazard and De Bruyne who helped the Red Devils of Belgium finish third at the World Cup and won the Premier League and FA cup with Manchester City and Chelsea respectively could finish in the top five position.
