Buhari receives family of late former vice president Alex Ekwueme in Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, July 19, received the representatives of the family of late former vice president, Alex Ekwueme, in the State House, Abuja, the nation's capital.
Legit.ng gathered that the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, made this known through his Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, December 21, signed the late vice president Alex Ekueme's condolence register before the commencement of Federal Executive Council (FEC), at the State House, Abuja.
Ekwueme, a former vice president during the tenure of Shehu Shagari, passed away in a London hospital in the late hours of Sunday, November 19.
The family of the deceased announced the death of the former vice president.
