- The anti-graft agency deleted the tweet after receiving backlashes from Nigerians

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has deleted a tweet where it mocked Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state and promised to come after him after his preferred candidate lost in the Saturday elections.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the EFCC in a tweet said Fayose’s cloak of immunity has been torn and urged the governor to be ready to face a renew court case over a fraud allegation.

The anti-graft agency hinted that the Fayose’s alleged N1.3bn poultry project during his first term from 2003 to 2006, would be re-opened after his term as governor.

After much backlash from the people, the anti-graft agency deleted the tweet but not after several people had copied it.
