Breaking: Galadima writes to INEC on Oshiomhole’s emergence as APC chairman
The Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to nullify the All Progressives Congress (APC) convention that made Adams Oshiomhole chairman.
The faction in a letter by its chairman, Buba Galadima, said the APC national convention which took place on June 23 was “very flawed and undemocratic”.

Galadima called on the electoral body to invalidate the election of the national officers.
Legit.ng had earlier reported that Galadima advised President Muhammadu Buhari to drop his ambition for a re-election in 2019 because he would be defeated. Galadima, whose R-APC fused with the other political parties in the evening of Monday, July 9, said President Buhari was destined to lose the 2019 election.
Meanwhile, the over 30 political groups which signed a pact with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have ended up losing their rights and identities, the spokesperson of the Buhari campaign organisation, Festus Keyamo, said.

Keyamo described the coalition as pure deceit and laughable desperation.
In a series of tweets, Keyamo, a senior lawyer, said: “Some political parties made up of just husbands and wives have signed an MOU with the PDP to form a ‘grand coalition’ against PMB in 2019. This is pure deceit. PDP has only succeeded in registering a few more members into its fold. It’s not a ‘grand coalition’. It’s just membership drive."
