Moses says he has no idea about Chelsea's pre-season campaign

Nigeria international Victor Moses has revealed he has no idea when Chelsea pre-season campaign will begin which summed up the desperate situation at Stamford Bridge.

There is a lot of uncertainties surrounding the London at the moment and Antonio Conte is not expected to be in charge next season but the club are yet to release him from his contract.

Reports claimed there have been a number of problems over Conte's compensation package, with the Blues hierarchy reluctant to pay him off the £9m required.

According to Starsport, Chelsea lawyers are looking into reducing the figure as a result of the Diego Costa debacle with Conte's infamous text message having an impact on the transfer fee the club could get.

Ex-Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has been touted to take over but his situation is equally as muddled.

Napoli replaced Sarri with Carlo Ancelotti but as of yet the Italian is still under contract at the Serie A club.

Reports have been ongoing about the situation but there has been no breakthrough.

And Super Eagles star Moses has echoed those feelings of the uncertainties admitting he has no idea when he has to report back to the club.

When asked when he would start training with Chelsea again, he replied: “I don’t know yet to be honest.

"I might get a call later on tonight and will find out how long I’ve got off.”

And pressed on who will tell him, he added: “I don’t know.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Nigeria crashed out of the World Cup when they lost 2-1 to Argentina in the final group game.

Lionel Messi opened his account in the competition while Victor Moses shot Nigeria level from the penalty spot.

Four minutes from time Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo scored the winner to send his team through to the round of 16.
