Dino Melaye blasts APC, says party is lifeless

Senator Dino melaye, the lawmaker representing Kogi west at the national assembly has lambasted the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, describing it as weak.

The senator also alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari is controlling the party like a steering party and as made the car leadership lifeless.

Dino Melaye who disclosed this on his Twitter page on Wedensday, June 20 said: "A party in power is suppose to guide the presidency in implementing party manifesto, policies, programmes and promises. Instead the presidency controls the party like a car steering the weak leadership of the party became lifeless. The story of APC. There was a party called APC!"

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that after Justice Olasumbo Goodluck of FCT high court, Maitama, adjourned his case indefinitely and granted him a leave to travel, Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West senatorial district, left Nigeria for London.

Melaye is standing trial on a two count charge bordering on giving false information. The senator who got wounded after jumping out of a police vehicle to avoid arrest, was granted leave to travel abroad for medical attention.

Legit.ng had also reported that Dino Melaye, described the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), as sick one suffering from abnormalities and in need of quick intervention. Melaye, who is a member of APC, made the statement on Channels TV during a programme on Friday, June 8.
