SARS officers reportedly shoot at Nigerian disc jockey DJ Obi

- Nigerian disc jockey DJ Obi recently revealed he was shot at by SARS officers

- He explained that his car tires were hit

- The star DJ also called for SARS officers to be trained more effectively

A large number of Nigerians have spoken out against the activities of officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The officers are said to assault Nigerian youths often without provocation and as a result, the hashtag #Endsars regularly trends on social media.

Popular disc jockey DJ Obi recently took to his Instagram page to reveal that SARS officers from the Maroko station shot at his car puncturing his tires.

He also revealed that we are doomed as a nation if SARS officers are allowed to do as they like. He later added that officers from Maroko station are famous for their atrocities as a result, their station should be closed.

Meanwhile, veteran rapper Ruggedman took to Twitter to write a message to his fallow entertainers asking them to speak out against SARS.

“Dear Nigerian entertainers, Some of these people being brutalised are your fans. Some are harrassed while coming from your shows. Speaking up for them will not end your career or stop benefits you get from wherever or whoever. They support you, return the favour. #EndSARS”
