Meanwhile, a pro-Buhari support group, Vote Guard and Awareness for Buhari, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the crisis rocking the APC across the nation.
Leader of the group, Alhaji Kelani Mohammed, at a press briefing in Kaduna, stressed that the crisis rocking the party in many states require the president’s personal intervention.
According to him, the APC needed a united front ahead of the 2019 general elections, even as he blamed some governors for igniting some of the crises by allegedly hijacking the party machinery in their states and scuttling internal democracy.
