The 64-year-old German football manager made this command after his wards' consecutive defeats against England and their last pre World Cup game with Czech Republic.

Rohr believes stopping the Super Eagles players from eating goat meat, pepper soup and other spicy foods will be of great help to their campaign in Russia 2018.

He made this known in an interview with Omasports TV in Austria where the Super Eagles are training for the World Cup.

“The reason is because nutritionist will tell you that too much spicy foods is not good for athletes.

“We have to observe what they tell us, and the medical team agreed that we cannot eat too much fat and too much spice,'' Gernot Rohr said in the interview.

In history, Nigeria have never won the World Cup title, and they are in Group D for the Russia 2018 where they will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
