Prince William offers support to Danny Rose after opening up about depression battles

President of the Football Association, Prince William and Duke of Cambridge, has commended England defender Danny Rose after speaking publicly about his depression struggles.
The Tottenham player revealed he was battling mental issues and said he was actually diagnosed with depression.
According to Sky Sports, William spoke with Rose while visiting the England squad at West Riding County Football Association on Thursday, June 7, ahead of their final warm-up game against Costa Rica.

"If you don't mind me mentioning I think it's really very good what you did," the Duke of Cambridge told Rose.
"Well done. You should be really pleased. Loads of support from me on that," William added.
The England full-back problems began after sustaining a knee injury that ruled him out of action back in January 2017.

To worsen matters for Rose, his close uncle killed himself while he was trying to recover from the devastating injury.
The news hit him and his family hard and Rose had to cope with the loss while trying to battle his own demons.
Meanwhile, Rose, revealed he told his heartbroken family not to travel to Russia for the 2018 World Cup, concerned they would be racially abused in Russia.

The 27-year-old defender says he is numb to racism and ridiculed FIFA's latest punishment against racism as disgusting and laughable.
Russian football is notorious for racism, with FIFA recently imposing a £21,000 fine for racist chants aimed at French players during France's 3-1 win against Russia in Krestovky Stadium.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the Super Eagles narrowly lost to England in a friendly played at the Wembley Stadium.
Danny Rose made a second half appearance in the match after coming on for Manchester United's Ashley Young.
