Barcelona president Bartomeu agrees to sell Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool this summer

Premier League campaigners Liverpool are reportedly edging close to reaching an agreement to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona this summer.
The World Cup bound forward joined the Catalans last year from German League side Borussia Dortmund in a £128.6 million deal.
However, he wasn’t been optimally productive for the Spanish League champions in his first year at the Camp Nou, and according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Jurgen Klopp has offered a serious bid for Barca chiefs.

The same publication claims Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has accepted the offer for the France international.
Meanwhile, Ernesto Valverde’s men are hoping to raise money to fund the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid, and they are willing to sell Dembele to achieve their goal.
The 20-year-old scored four goals and nine assists in 24 appearances for the Catalan side after missing almost three months early last season due to injury.
Dembele is however planning to fight for his space in the Barca team next season despite the prospective arrival of the Atletico man.
Speaking last month, Bartomeu said: “The option of selling him is not on the table.
“We are finishing the season and then there will be meetings. He's an investment for the future. He is very young and we expect a lot from him.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp previously sparked speculation about swooping for Dembele when he admitted he was “interested”.
Dembele rejected a move to Liverpool in 2016 when he quit Rennes for Dortmund.
Explaining the snub, he said: “I saw Klopp in Paris but I told him I’d made up my mind to sign for BVB.”
Legit.ng previously reported that Liverpool are reportedly ready to seal a move for Ousmane Dembele if Real Madrid eventually signs Mohamed Salah in the summer, Don Balon reports.
According to reports Salah is now one of Real's top transfer targets, and Jurgen Klopp could turn to Ousmane Dembele as a replacement for him up front.
The Anfield giants are increasingly worried about the future of their top scorer, following Salah's impeccable performance this season.
