Ex-PDP spokesman Adeyeye defects to APC

- Adeyeye had said just some days back that nothing would make him join the ruling APC even though he had dumped PDP
A former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and one-time minister Dayo Adeyeye has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Punch reports that, Adeyeye, a former minister of state for works said he was joining forces with the APC and it’s candidate Kayode Fayemi, to rescue Ekiti from the grip of the PDP.

Legit.ng had reported just some days ago that Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the PDP confirmed that he on Sunday night, May 13, paid a private visit to Ogun state Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Adeyeye said: ”Who told you that? Okay, Yes, i was in Abeokuta but it was a private visit. I will never join the APC. I have not decided on which party to join for now but definitely not APC.”

He was said to have discussed with the governor on the possibility of joining the APC and collapsing his structures for Kayode Fayemi who emerged as the flag bearer of APC last Saturday.
