Ahmed Musa donates rice as gift for Ramadan

- Ahmed Musa gives out bags of rice for Ramadan fasting

Super Eagles attacker Ahmed Musa has donated bags of rice to Muslim faithfuls observing the Ramadan fast.

The CSKA Moscow striker took to his Instagram to send holy greetings saying 'Ramdan Kareem' with a picture of a bag of rice that has his picture inscribed on it with 'not for sale' written on it.

The former Leicester City striker is expected to make Gernot Rohr's final 23-man list to the World Cup in Russia.

Although Musa has lost his place in the starting XI in the Nigerian squad but he has shown in some of the matches that he is still of great importance to the team.

The ex-Kano Pillars star did not play a single Premier League match for Leicester under Claude Puel as he made a return to his former Russian side which has paid off for him.

Nigeria will be playing in Group D alongside Croatia, Iceland and Argentina when the tournament kicks off proper in June.

The Green and White will play Atletico Madrid, Democratic Republic of Congo in warm-up friendlies.
