Buhari deserves second term, he has done extremely well - Urhobo, Isoko youths

- Delta youths have said that President Muhammadu Buhari deserves a second term

- The youths consists of Nigerians from Urhobo and Isoko area of Delta

- They said President Buhari has done extremely well since assuming office in May, 2015

Some youth from Urhobo and Isoko have said that President Muhammadu Buhari desrves a second term in office. The youths under the platform of Coalition of Urhobo and Isoko Youths (CUIY) said the president should vie for the position of presidency come 2019.

The coalition while speaking with journalists in Oleh, Isoko south local government area of Delta state said, said the Buhari led administration had left no stone unturned in the fight against corruption.

The coordinator of the coalition, Comrade William Omoro, said President Buhari has done exceedingly well in stabilizing the economy which he said was left in shambles by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He said the president has demonstrated that he means well for all Nigerians.

He said: “The signing into law of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, FUPRE Bill and the provision of take off grant to the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko goes to show that Buhari is in touch with the yearning and aspirations of the people of the Niger Delta region."

Omoro also applauded the extension of the tenure of the the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun. "This will no doubt bring stability to the party and pave way to build on its successes ahead of the 2019 general elections," he said.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the president received letters of credence from ambassadors of three different countries.

The presentations made by the ambassadors of the countries was announced by the presidency through the official Facebook page of Aso Rock Villa.

The letters were received from: the High Commissioner of Singapore to Nigeria, Lim Sim Seng, the High Commissioner of Uganda to Nigeria, Nelson Ocheger and the Ambassador of Philippines to Nigeria, Shirley.
