Little boy born at 25 weeks celebrates 2nd birthday

A US based Nigerian mother has taken to the social media platform to celebrate the birthday of her son who was born premature and survived all odds to celebrate his second birthday.

The joy of a mother is usually not quantifiable especially with the arrival of a new baby and thus, they do everything possible to nurture their babies to good health. Therefore it is always a difficult thing for them and mostly heartbreaking for them to see their little ones unhealthy and cannot do anything to take away the pain.

This is exactly what this Nigerian mum identified as Mrs Nonso experienced when her baby boy, Jason, was born prematurely. Seeing those wires on her child was gruesome and her only hope was that he survived the phase and that, he did. Celebrating his 2nd birthday, she treated her vibrant son to a lovely birthday photoshoot.

In one of the photos she shared on her Instagram page, she wrote: My beloved son JASON, as you turn 2 today, your joy will never lose sight of you. God will never forsake you. You will continuously defy all boundaries. Your name will resonate to the ends of the earth. You will make a life changing difference in the world. God will eliminate anything that will bring harm and shame to you. You will live long in health, peace, love and prosperity. You will never know pain again, you will never fight for your life again. YOU ARE A WARRIOR, YOU ARE A SURVIVOR, YOU ARE A MIRACLE. I am still in awe of Gods power and mercy. I didn’t deserve this love but Gods’ grace was sufficient for me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY TEGA. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF ❤️❤️❤️

Going down memory lane to when she celebrated his first birthday, she shared a very emotional message on her Instagram page, thanking God for his life. She wrote: This time last year, I wasn't sure what story i would tell the world and my faith had been stretched to its breaking point. But today, I know what story to tell the world and my faith has been renewed. JASON NONSO TEGA NWANERI, you are the evidence of Gods love for me, you are the source of my strength, you are the fountain of my joy, you are my miracle, my warrior, my superstar, you are born with a purpose.

The world will know of you; I can feel it in my soul. You are a source of inspiration and hope to so many people in the world already. From a 25 week born micro preemie to a 1 year old happy, healthy and handsome baby boy. I dance today in awe of Gods grace and wonder. I speak blessings into your life. Thank you for teaching me the right way to love; thank you for choosing me as the vessel that brings you here and I look forward to being a part of your journey to greatness. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BELOVED SON #jasonswinteronederla
