Kano royal prince, Aminu Sanusi Lamido, resumes duty as a police officer (photos)
The 26-year-old first son of the former governor of Central Bank, and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Lamido II, Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, has resumed duties as a police officer.
The zonal police PRO, Dolapo Badmus, shared photos of Lamido's son on her instagram page where she congratulated him.
She said: "Supol Aminu Sanusi Lamido, Congratulations as you resume fully to police duties from break after your graduation from Police Academy Kano. As you begin the 35years career, I have no doubt in my mind that you will excel!
While you were a Corp member serving in my office you never hid your plan to become an officer, the dexterity and the passion you’ve shown towards the profession is an indication that you are cut out for the job, I have no doubt in me that you will excel. I wish you best of luck in this noble profession."
It could be recalled that the ASP’s late grandfather, Emir Ado Bayero, was a police officer before he joined the diplomatic work, then became the emir of Kano.

The prince, according to reports has a degree in Accounting from the University of Buckingham, UK, studied Arabic in Riyad, Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria for his national youth service.
