1. Bankole and Adesua Wellington:
The wedding of award winning Nigerian singer, director turned Nollywood actor to his beautiful and petite wife, Adesua Etomi, could be the biggest celebrity wedding in 2017. These great people got their families, friends and fans glued to social media to monitor all the details from their wedding both in Lagos and in South Africa.
The celebrity couple on Sunday, November 19, staged a lavish traditional wedding at Land Mark event centre, Victoria Island in Lagos and on Saturday, November 25, had their white wedding in Cape Town, South Africa.
2. Oritsefemi and Nabila Fash:
Popularly known as the music Taliban, singer Oritsefemi and his pretty wife Nabila Fash had their wedding on Saturday, November 25, in Lagos. The wedding which seemed like a carnival was attended by top Nigerian celebrities and socialites.
This could had their traditional and white wedding on the same day and they sure had loads of fun with their guests.
3. Yomi Makun and Grace Onuoha:
Celebrity designer Yomi Casual and long-time sweetheart on Saturday, October 14, finally walked down the aisle at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The star studded event made rounds on social media.
Just few days after their expensive, the couple traveled to Dubai for their honeymoon and are no doubt enjoying marital bliss.
4. Stephanie Coker and Olumide Aderinokun:
Beautiful Nollywood actress Stephanie Coker and millionaire husband, Olumide Aderinokun got married in grand style. The wedding which took place on Saturday, August 12, in Mykonos, Greece had in attendance close families and friends.
The couple in December 30, 2016, had their traditional wedding in Lagos.

5. Actor Kenneth Okolie and Jessica Nwakah:
Finally, on Saturday, December 16, former Mr Nigeria turned Nollywood actor Kenneth Okolie walked down the aisle with his beautiful woman Jessica Nwakah.
The white wedding which took place in the heart of Lagos also had in attendance top Nigerian celebrities to celebrate with the couple.
6. Daniel K Daniel and Teena:
One of Nollywood’s favourite actors Daniel K Daniel on Sunday, December 3, got married to his long-time sweetheart, Tina. His wife was reported to be a successful makeup artist. The couple had their traditional wedding on Saturday, August 26, in Nnewi, Anambra state.
7. Agbani Darego and Ishaya Danjuma:
Agbani Darego got married to Ishaya Danjuma, son of Theophilus Danjuma in a beautiful wedding all the way in Marrakesh, Morroco. The couple had a private and social media free wedding ceremony.
8. Actress Yvonne Jegede and actor Olakunle Fawole (Abounce):
Son of late veteran Nollywood actress (Bukky Ajayi) and actor Olakunle Fawole got married to his sweetheart Yvonne Jegede on Saturday, February 4, in Lagos. The couple had a private traditional wedding the following week, went to the registry to officially tie the knot.
The celebrity couple dated for about 10 years before getting married.
9. Actor Seun Ajayi and Damilola:
On Saturday, September 9, one of Nollywood’s sweethearts Seun Ajayi got married to the love of his life, Damilola in a grand wedding ceremony in Lagos. Ajayi and his wife shut down the city with their vibrant ceremony which was well-attended by family and friends as well as some of Nollywood's biggest celebrities.

10. Ex-beauty queen Powede Eniola Lawrence and Ikenna Awujo:
Powede Eniola Lawrence is a former Nigerian beauty queen, has officially tied the knot with her boo, Ikenna Nelly Awujo. The holy solemnization of the duo was done in Lagos on Saturday, September 9.
11. Actor Ken Erics:
Popular Nollywood actor Ekenedilichukwu Ugochukwu Eric Nwenweh popularly known as Ken Erics and his sweetheart on Friday, December 29, tied the knot in style. The traditional wedding which was done in the village had in attendance celebrities who came to support the couple.
12. Toyosi Philips and Etim Effiong:
Gidi Up actor Etim Effiong had one of the most beautiful weddings of 2017 when he got married famous media personality, Toyosi Philips, on Saturday, November 4.
However, the groom is Efik but the couple ensured that their traditional wedding ceremony would embrace their respective cultures.
