Nigerian conjoined twins separated by 22 doctors in India (photo)
Nigerian conjoined twins James and John have been separated by doctors in India.
The babies which were delivered on May 8, 2017 at the First Covenant Hospital in Satellite town were fused in the stomach before they went for the operation.
Legit.ng reported how the father Obinna Ugowuoke who is a trader in lagos went insane temporarily when he found out his babies were conjoined.
Obinna and Amarachi Ugwuoke who already have two children had to deal with the situation by raising money through various means to fly the boys to India for surgery.
The operation involved 22 specialist doctors that worked for several hours to get the surgery done successfully in Bangalore, India.

According to the doctors, the twins can now live their lives independently.
