A young Nigerian man identified as Ugwu Augustine who is physically challenged has shared the story of how people react to his disability.
The young man who is a twin explained that a lot of people see him with crutches and immediately think he is using as a form of fashion to improve physical appearance. Looking at some of his photos, it is obvious that the young man’s disability has not affected him at all.
In a post he shared on social media, Augustine also talked about how far he has come despite his disability. It is clear that the young man did not give his disability a chance to hold him back. He has several photos showing playing football even with his crutches.

According to him, his disability is a result of discomfort while he was in his mother’s tummy during pregnancy. He revealed that he and his twin brother were not properly balance during pregnancy which caused his right leg not to grow properly.
He, however, noted that despite his disability he has become who he is today because of what happened to him. He further added that he feels no regret in his life because he has learnt a lot from his challenges.

According to my mom, the doctor said I and my twin bro (God bless his soul) was not properly balanced in my mom's belly, so my right leg was unable to grow properly….
It wasn’t really easy growing up tho…. So many challenges but here I am today alive healthy and thankful.
