More Boko Haram terrorists hiding in Ondo - Arrested suspect confesses
- A Boko Haram suspect arrested in Ondo said he has only killed two persons
- He confessed that more terrorists were still in the state
- The police vowed to fish out the rest of the terrorists
Mohammed Bashir who is a suspected Boko Haram member who was arrested in Ondo state has confessed to killing two persons.
Premium Times reports that the 20-year-old suspect arrested at Isua Akoko in Ondo state on Sunday, October 1, also said that more terrorists were hiding in the state.

The suspect who hails from Nasarawa state was arrested while loitering along Isua-Ifira Akoko road.
He said he had planned to launch an attack in the state before he was apprehended.
He said: “I only killed two people. The first person was a little child who I murdered inside the bush while the second one was an adult I killed by the roadside,” Mr. Bashir said in the Hausa language.
“I ran into Ondo State from Nasarawa after the military launched a manhunt for us (Boko Haram) in the North. When I arrived in the state, I went straight to see my younger brother and decided to walk on the streets of the community.
“I had planned to strike but first wanted to eat by the roadside when I was arrested by the police patrol team and moved down to their station.
"Some of our members who ran from the military are still scattered around the local communities in Ondo State."
Gbenga Adeyanju who is the state commissioner of police said he has received directive to hand over the suspect to the army.
He explained that the suspect was arrested almost at the same spot a member of the sect was arrested last week.
Concerning the revelation that there were more terrorist in the state, the police chief said he and his men were equal to the task.
He said: “If he says that there are many of them in the state, we will get them.

“We will not reveal what we are going to do and how we will carry out our operations, but we will get them.”
Legit.ng had reported that the police arrested another Boko Haram member in Isua Akoko area of the Akoko southeast local government area of Ondo state.
The arrest came days after Idris Babawo, also known as Dikko was arrested in the same location by the state police command.
