Full requirements for Ibadan Polytechnic admissions
The Polytechnic Ibadan established in 1970 is one of the leading polytechnic in Nigeria. The Polytechnic Ibadan was established as a successor to the erstwhile technical college, Ibadan under the provision of principal Edict cited as the Polytechnic Ibadan 1970.
The Polytechnic Ibadan runs mainly National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in all of its faculties.
At present, there are five faculties in The Polytechnic Ibadan, namely: Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Financial and Management Studies and Business and Communication Studies.

- Banking and Finance
To study Accounting and Banking and Finance in the Polytechnic Ibadan, the O’Level subject combination and requirements include English Language and Mathematics and any three other subjects from the following:
1. Either Economic or Commerce
2. Business Method
3. Principles of Accounts
4. Literature in English
5. Geography

Meanwhile, the sales of application form into the Polytechnic Ibadan is on-going. Interested candidates can apply for the form through the school website http://apply.polyibadan.edu.ng; the cut off mark is 150 and the deadline for this application is 3, October, 2017.
In addition, the price is ₦2,500 (two thousand five hundred naira only). There is also additional administrative charge of ₦5,000 (five thousand naira only).
Interested candidate for the National Diploma on Accounting or Banking and Finance must have attempted the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained scores not lower than 150.
Finally, the primary function of the Polytechnic is to provide for students training and development of techniques in applied science, engineering, environmental science and commerce.
