Muhammadu Buhari to spend 4 days in London - Presidency

- Femi Adesina, Buhari's spokesperson, confirmed the president has landed in London

- Adesina said Buhari will spend four days but did not state why he is in the country

President Muhammadu Buhari is to spend four days in London before returning to Nigeria, his special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, has confirmed.

From Adesina’s confirmation, President Buhari is expected back in Nigeria on Monday, September 25.

The Punch reports that Adesina did not give the actual reason Buhari is in London.

“We just landed in London. The president is in transit; to be back in Nigeria on Monday,” Adesina said.

Buhari recently left Nigeria for New York where he attended the UN General Assembly.

Legit.ng earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, September 21, departed New York for London.
