Cristiano Ronaldo took the opportunity of his final match ban to visit some old friends at his former club Sporting Lisbon with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
The Portuguese superstar opted against watching his current team-mates in action against Real Sociedad and instead travelled to his former employers Sporting Lisbon.

The current Ballon d’or winner enjoyed the game with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez from the comfort of a private box at Estadio Jose Alvalada as the hosts defeated Tondela 2-0.
Former Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu put Sporting ahead after just 12 minutes, while Bruno Fernandes ensured the four-time Balon d’Or winner’s return was sealed with victory midway through the second period.
Ronaldo has now completed his five-game suspension for Zinedine Zidane’s side and will no doubt go straight back into the side when Real Betis travel to the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old was reacted furiously after being given his marching orders last month in the Spanish Super Cup against Barca.
Moments after scoring a thumping strike, he shoved referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea after he was shown a second yellow card for diving in the El Clasico.

Despite lodging an appeal, he failed to overturn his five-match sanction and has yet to feature for the club in La Liga.
Although he did show last week that he is chomping at the bit to get back to domestic action as he struck two in the 3-0 win over APOEL in the Champions League.
