Former president Goodluck Jonathan thanks the Super Eagles for unifying Nigeria after their impressive win over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Uyo.
Goals from Odion Ighalo, John Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho gave Nigeria the win in their 2018 World Cup Qualifier against their West African rivals.

In a statement released on facebook, Jonathan said: "4-0. What a game! Football is a great unifier and the Super Eagles have done so much to unify Nigeria by this win and I celebrate their talent and brilliance. Go Super Eagles. GEJ."

Legit.ng had reported that current president Muhammadu Buhari congratulated the team for their brilliant win in a statement released by his aide on Facebook.
