200 Boko Haram terrorists attack hunters, 4 dead

- Boko Haram terrorists attacked some hunters in Adamawa

- Four hunters were killed in the attack which lasted all night

- Some of the terrorists also lost their lives in the attack

Boko Haram terrorists have launched an attack against the Hunters Association killing its commander, Bukar Jimeta, and three of his men in Adamawa state.

Daily Trust reports that the terrorists engaged in a gun fight with the hunters n Dagu, a Borno village along the border with Adamawa throughout the night of Saturday, July 22.

The hunters had joined the fight against Boko Haram since 2014.

Kayibo Dagu who resides in the area said 200 terrorists stormed the area and after a long gun battle killed the four hunters.

He also confirmed that some of the terrorists lost their lives in the attack.

Usman Tola who is the chairman of the hunters association confirmed the attack. He said he had sent a delegation to condole with the family of the deceased.

Meanwhile, a Boko Haram attack in Madagali village in Adamawa led to the death of 7 terrorists.

The attack occoured around 12pm as the terrorists attacked the village and set houses ablaze.

It was reported that the villagers alerted the hunters who have been helping the army in the fight against insurgency.
