Oyedepo prays against plans to cause unrest in Nigeria

- The general overseer of Living Faith church, Bishop David Oyedepo, prayed against satanic manipulation to create unrest in Nigeria

- The renowned cleric prayed for the recovery of the economic and educational sector in Nigeria

- He also prayed against any gang-up against Christianity in Nigeria, as he stated that freedom of religion and worship shall remain the identity of this nation

Bishop David Oyedepo, the general overseer and founder of Living Faith Worldwide, has prayed fervently against Nigeria being led to war by any person or group.

According to reports, the cleric made his comments during a special service organized by his church on Wednesday, July 19.

He stated: “No one shall succeed to lead Nigeria to war. No group shall succeed to lead our nation to war.

“These are all manipulations of Satan to create unrest and it is unnecessary; therefore we will keep on decreeing the Peace of God in the land.

“Nigeria shall not go down.

“Our economy shall recover. We will recover quality in our education system.

“Nigeria will not be sold out to slavery.

“Christians have never caused any uproar in this nation since inception and the most cultured people in our nation today are believes.

“The most responsible people are believers.

“Every gang up against Christianity in Nigeria particularly the issues making rounds on Christian Religious Knowledge syllabus in the SSS level won’t stand.

“Believes have built more universities than anybody else in Nigeria, churches have built more schools than any organisation in Nigeria.

“Freedom of region and worship shall remain the identity of this nation.”

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that Bishop David Oyedepo said that there is an agenda to Islamize Nigeria; but vowed that the move will be thwarted.

The religious cleric in a sermon at his church noted that the National Christian Elders Forum said the country is engaged in a war with jihadists, but that Christians will not take this lightly.
