The senator made this known while submitting a motion yesterday, June 5, on the floor of the senate on the attacks by the dreaded sects on the University of Maiduguri, according to a report by Daily Post.
Kyari urged the federal government to produce adequate security for the University of Maiduguri which has been hit several times by the Boko Haram sect.
He argued that the university is the only federal government owned higher institution in the state and the incessant attack on it might cripple academic activities in the school and the state as a whole.

Recall that Legit.ng reported on Wednesday, that army chief, Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai, said that the release of the second batch of the 82 Chibok girls recently was a political decision and not one taken by the Nigerian Army.
Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) in Nigeria, said this in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
According to Buratai, the Nigerian Army has performed its own roles for the safe passage of the abducted Chibok girls.
Buratai insisted that Boko Haram has been defeated since they only operate in a limited area unlike in the past when they were present in some northern states.
