President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump writes about her encounter with two high school graduate Chibok girls who recently visited the White House.
The girls, Joy Bishara and Lydi Pogu were one of the girls who escaped from the capture of Boko Haram and were offered scholarship to complete their education in the United States by a Christian non-governmental organisation.
Ivanka Trump, took to Facebook after meeting the girls to write: "Honored to have welcomed Joy and Lydia, two incredible young women from Chibok, Nigeria to the White House last week.

"They shared with me their remarkable journey in overcoming tremendous adversity, and I am in awe of their courage and heart.
"I look forward to watching them flourish as they begin a new chapter at Southeastern University this fall.
"Joy and Lydia, I am so proud of you both! Thank you for inspiring us with your story."

Joy and Lydia attended Canyonville Christian Academy and will be starting university very soon.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that troops of 28 Task Force Brigade Nigerian Army visited the Internally Displaced Persons Camp, Chibok, to render free medical service to the community.
The director of Army public relations; Brigadier-General SK Usman said this was part of activities marking the Nigerian Army Day Celebration and also part of their contribution to the community.
He disclosed that the soldiers attended to over 300 persons.
