Amaechi arrives Kaduna state for commissioning of the Inland Dry Port

- Former governor of Rivers state and minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi, has touched down in Kaduna

- The minister is in the state for the commissioning of the Inland Dry Port

- Amaechi was welcomed by Governor Nasir El-Rufai

Photos have emerged of ex-Governor Rotimi Amaechi's visit to Kaduna state.

The minister of transport was welcomed by Governor Nasir El-Rufai on his arrival.

Reports suggest that the ex-governor of Rivers state is in Kaduna for the commissioning of the Inland Dry Port.

The event is to take place on Tuesday, June 20.

In a similar vein, Amaechi, recently celebrated his 52nd birthday in grand style.

The birthday party took place at Aztech Arcum Event Centre in Port Harcourt city according to a Facebook user identified as Alasuonyo N. Mathias.

Amaechi’s birthday party attracted the high and mighty in the country as Port Harcourt city shook with the celebration.

The birthday cakes were designed to look like the head of a lion.

One of the cakes had the inscription ‘Happy birthday to the lion of Niger Delta’ on it.
