Unknown gunmen allegedly kidnap Delta poly registrar

Registrar of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi Uku, one of the three polytechnics in the state, Mr. Collins Onyenwenu, has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen a few minutes ago.
According to a facebook post made by Ovie Success Ossai, aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state, Onyenwenu, popularly called Papa C, was kidnapped along Ugiliamai/Onitcha Ukwu road in Ndokwa east local government area of the state.
Legit.ng reports that the kidnappers, who whisked him away to unknown destination, abandoned his car on the road having pulled him out of his official car along the road.

A senior staff of the polytechnic, who did not want to be named, confirmed the kidnap of Onyenwenu on Saturday.

When contacted for confirmation, public relations officer of the state police command, Andrew Aniamaka, said he had not got information on the kidnap but assured that he would make inquiry and get back.
