In a statement made available to Legit.ng, President of the IYC, Eric Omare, commended the Middle Belt youths for dissociating themselves from the quit notice, saying the middle belt position made available by Emma Zopmal was an indication of maturity and respect for Nigerians from different parts of the country to express opinion as to the structure of Nigeria.
Omare, who came hard on the present structural arrangement of Nigeria, said the country as it is presently is suffocating and is in dire need of urgent surgery to reconstruct it so as to achieve unity, peace and progress, the motto of the nation.
The IYC president said: “It is in this light that we are gladdened by the expression of support for self-determination by the Middle Belt Youth Council.
