Moji Olaiya dies two months after giving birth

- Nollywood actress Moji Olaiya is dead

-The mother of two died in Canada where she had gone to have her second child

- Moji gave birth on March 17, 18 years after she had her first daughter

The news of Moji Olaiya's death filtered into the country in the morning of Thursday, May 18. The actress just gave birth to her second child on March 17.

Legit.ng exclusively called one of her closest friends who said she told him she will be crossing to US from Canada where she had her daughter. He said Moji was not sounding sick as at the time they last spoke.

Moji is said to have passed away in a Canadian hospital at the age of 42 after suffering a heart attack. She was also alleged to have been going in and out of the hospital after childbirth.

Moji welcomed her new baby 18 years after she had her first child, Adunola. She got divorced from her first husband Okesola in 2008 and got hooked to another man whom she had her new baby for.

In less than one month, the Yoruba movie industry has been hit by three deaths, Olumide Bakare, Pastor Ajidara and now Moji Olaiya.

It is alleged that the actress will be buried in Canada according to Islamic rite. She is survived by her father, mother and daughters. She held her baby dedication on Tuesday, May 16.
