Human rights lawyer, Festus Keyamo has jokingly suggested that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo should be addressed as the Acting Big Brother of Nigeria.

Keyamo was reacting to the controversy surrounding whether President Buhari duly handed over power to Osinbajo before he left the country.

President Buhari had left the country on Sunday, May 7 for medical treatment and the vice president was duly expected to replace him in acting capacity.

Writing on his Twitter page, Keyamo tried to play down the whole issue my suggesting a new moniker for Osinbajo.

Putting it in a legal context, Keyamo however suggested that as long as Buhari is not incommunicado, Osinbajo take key decisions without his consent, whether he is the Acting President or not.

Meanwhile, Senator Shehu Sani has faulted the letter of President Buhari intimating the National Assembly of his medical trip to London.

The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District insisted that Osinbajo is the acting president since the constitution has provided room for the scenario that played out.
