Two Obafemi Awolowo University 300 level students have died (photos)

- A female and a male student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have passed away.

- The tragic news was shared on the school’s student union Facebook page

Two students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Jeremiah Ashiru and Baruwa Yewande, have passed way.

Legit.ng came across the sad information on OAU student union page on Facebook.

The union stated that Yewande who was a 300 level Public Administration student died on Saturday, April 5, after she suffered a terrible illness.

According to the page, Jeremiah Ashiru who was a 300 level Sociology and Anthropology student died in a terrible car accident.

Obafemi Awolowo University student union prayed for the family and friends of the deceased.

"*CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL* *GREAT IFE STUDENTS UNION* *Life is a stage where every person is an actor. The span of our role gets determined by death.*

With heavy hearts, the Students' Union regret to announce the demise of two industrious students: *Baruwa Yewande (A 300Level Student of Public Administration and Jerry Ashiru (A 300level Student of Sociology and Anthropology),* who were lost to sickness and a ghastly accident on *29th of April and 3rd May, 2017* respectively. Our hearts and prayers remain with the friends, families, the departments and faculties of the deceased. May the Lord console the families and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss."
