Buhari 2019 campaign posters hit Benue (photo)

- Some supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari are urging him to run in 2019

- Campaign posters supporting his re=election were seen in Benue state

Campaign posters for the re-election of Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 have flooded the city of Makurdi, Benue state.

Daily Post reports that the posters were seen on the walls of the Federal Medical Center, Wurukum Round-about and other areas in Makurdi Town.

The posters were suspected to distributed by supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari.

It bore the logo of All the All Progressives Congress with an inscription that reads, ‘Nigerians resolve Buhari 2019, after healing come greatness, just believe.’

An indigene who simply identified himself as Ogbole said: ‘I begin to ponder what manner of people Nigeria is made of. We are having an ailing president that needs our prayer, but sponsors of the posters are making mess of the issue.’

The presidency has not reacted to the report of the posters being distributed.

The Punch added that one Mr Tsugba said ‘what the president needs from Nigerians now is prayer for God to heal him, so as to have time to focus on the challenges facing the country’.
