BREAKING: President Buhari absent at Juma'at prayer in Aso Villa

- President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, April 28, was absent at Friday Juma'at service in the Presidential Villa

- Governors Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State); Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara State) and Abdulahi Ganduje (Kano State) were amongst those that worshiped at the Villa Mosque

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, April 28, was absent as Muslim faithful and top government officials gathered inside a mosque at the Presidential Villa for the Juma’at service.

Legit.ng gathered the reason for the president's absence was not known as at press time.

Vanguard reports that Governors Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State); Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara State) and Abdulahi Ganduje (Kano State) were amongst those that worshiped at the Villa Mosque.

In a previous report by Legit.ng, the Presidency revealed that doctors to President Buhari have advised he takes things slowly due to his health.

In a series of tweets today, April 27, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu said speculations in some section of the media over the president's health is uncalled for.

He said the absence of President Buhari at the last Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, April 26, was a last minute decision.
