The former minister of aviation Osita Chidoka has given his reason for appearing at the Federal High Court in support of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
Chidoka while speaking to Legit.ng after the ruling on the bail application made by Kanu said he was in court because he belongs to a new generation of the Igbo people.
He also said the new generation of the Igbo people are a fearless people.

Chidoka said: "I belong to the new generation of Ndigbo the generation after the civil war and we are fearless."
He further told journalist at the court that Nigeria needs a new beginning that will launch it to the desired development.
The former minister said: "Our nation needs healing, our nation need new interpretation, a new beginning, and I believe that the direction the court took today is a direction that will lead us to starting the process of this healing."

Legit.ng can report that Chidoka was in court with the Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose and another minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode.
The trio said they were in court to stand in solidarity with the IPOB leader who was granted bail by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Nyako in her ruling ordered the release of Kanu upon perfection of his bail conditions which includes the provision of three sureties - one of whom would be a serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a traditional ruler and a Jewish religious leader.
The sureties, the court said, will provide N100 million each as Kanu's bail bond.
The IPOB is also not allowed to be in a gathering of more than 10 people and would not grant a press interview during the course of his trial.

Meanwhile, sources within the IPOB camp has said that Kanu has rejected the bail conditions.
The source said the IPOB leader rejected the conditions because his co-accused were denied bail.
He said Kanu believes his co-accused - David Nwawuisi, Benjamin Nwabugwu and Chidiebere Onwudiwe - were arrested because of him.
