Nigerian unemployed graduates welcome their first set of quintuplets (photos)

On Wednesday, April 12, Oluwakemi Funmilayo Aminu and her husband Imudia Uduehi welcomed a set of quintuplet and both mother and babies are doing very well.

Legit.ng gathered that the children were born at the National Hospital, Abuja. However, the new father hails from Ekpoma, Esan West local government area while the wife is a civil servant with the Nigerian Population Commission (NPC), Abuja.

According to media practitioner, Lara Wise who shared their story online, the Kemi got pregnant shortly after their wedding and barely 8 months after she conceived naturally, doctors at the National hospital had to bring out her babies through C.S.

However, the couple have are begging the government and Nigerians to come to their rescue because they can’t take care of all the children alone. The husband said:

"I am delighted and I thank God to have blessed us with these healthy children, I know it is a huge responsibility because it is not easy to raise even one child. I am, however, appealing to the government, well-meaning Nigerians and corporate organizations to come and support my family in raising the children."

The new mother too revealed that: “My husband is presently searching for a job and I am a civil servant with Nigerian Population Commission in Abuja. We both live in one bedroom apartment in Lugbe because that is what we can afford. But now that God has blessed us with five children, we will definitely need a bigger apartment and money to meet their needs, especially buying baby food and cloths.”

The husband's father also took to his Facebook handle to thank God for blessing him. He said: “What shall I say unto the Lord, All I want to say is thank you Lord, Thank you Lord!!! Glory be to GOD! The one who has given us pleasant surprises by adding five tour grandchildren at a go. Join me in praising the Lord I have seen his goodness.”
