Soldiers kill 6 Boko Haram terrorists, arrest their logistics supplier (photos)
- Troops of 192 Battalion 26 Task Force on Tuesday, April 18, gunned down six Boko Haram terrorists
- The Nigerian Army said other terrorists were wounded in the operation by the troops attached to Operation Lafiya Dole
- Weapons were also recovered from the terrorists during the operation
- A logistics supplier for the terrorists was also arrested in another operation around Daushe village in Borno state
Troops of 192 Battalion 26 Task Force on Tuesday, April 18, gunned down six Boko Haram terrorists.
The terrorists were killed in a clearance operation carried out by the troops attached to Operation Lafiya Dole in the terrorists hideouts at Dissa and Patawe general area of Borno state.
The director of defence information Sani Usman in a statement said several other terrorists were wounded during the operation.

Usman said many items including one AK-47 riffle was recovered from the insurgents.
He said: "They also recovered an AK-47 Rifle, one AK-47 Magazine loaded with nine rounds of ammunition, 22 rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition, 3 bicycles and 3 bags of groundnut.
"The team also recovered the sum of Twenty Nine Thousand and Forty Naira (N29,040.00k) on the body of one of the terrorists," Usman said.
The army spokesperson said in a related development, troops of 82 Division Task Force Battalion intercepted a Boko Haram logistics supplier.
He said the terrorist was arrested at a crossing point around Daushe village on Wednesday, April 19.

"The team recovered a bag of Sorghum, a basket full of provisions and other sundry items. The troops also rescued 36 old woman with gunshot wounds en-route back," Usman added.
Recall that the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps on Tuesday, April 18, said it arrested a former wife of Boko Haram commander.
The Corps said the woman was arrested alongside another suspected terrorist near an internally displaced persons camp.
