Court defreezes Patience Jonathan's account - Nigerians react
Report has it that a Federal High Court in Lagos has unfrozen former first lady Patience Jonathan's account containing $5.9m.
This is coming a few hours after Justice Adeniyi Ademola was discharged and acquitted by a High Court in Abuja of all the 18 corruption charges filed against him.
It was gathered that a large number of women were at the court this morning to show their solidarity for the former first lady.
Many Nigerians are of the opinion that this a setback for the anti-corruption war which is one of the main goals of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
