Currently, NECOM House is the tallest building in Nigeria. Its Alternative name is NET Building, Nigerian Telecommunications Limited Building, and NITEL Building. Its EBN is 103443. It is situated in Lagos, Victoria Island. Its height is 158.50 m. There are 32 floors (above ground). The construction ended in 1979.
It is the highest skyscraper (and building in general) in Nigeria. Its structural material is concrete and it seems to be very safe. It’s mainly used as a commercial office.

However soon it is going to change as the multi-level, 64-storey building called Stratosphere Abuja, is being constructed in Abuja. It will become the huge skyscraper. BHS International Limited is working on the construction of the building.
There will be a huge apartment - hotel complex having 400 luxury apartments and 250 suites of the 5-star hotel. There will be a private spa and health club, a lot of restaurants, sky lounge and helipad.
It will be a modern luxurious building which is for the first time in Nigeria.
When the construction is completed NECOM House will become the second tallest building in Nigeria and Stratosphere Abuja will get the first place.
