The office of the chief whip of the National Assembly Francis Alimikhena has been gutted by fire, The Nation reports.

The fire incident occurred on Monday, February 20.

It was gathered that the fire destroyed some of the electrical appliances in Alimikhena's office.

Senator Alimikhena is currently the lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial District in the Senate.
