Nollywood actress Gloria Young turning 50 was an interesting event as her colleagues and friends trooped out to celebrate her with a football match.

Gloria's actor husband Nobert Young put together a novelty football match between the female celebrities, tagged Gloria Young Ladies FC, and the males - Nobert Young Men FC.

The match ended 2-1 with the ladies thrashing the men. Nobert served as the goalkeeper for the men's team.

On Sunday, February 5, a birthday bash was held in her honour. It was also to celebrate her 25 years in the movie industry.

Celebrities like Empress Njamah, Yemi Blaq, Helen Paul, Lepacious Bose and Okey Bakassi were present.

Gloria Young (nee Anozie) first came to the limelight for her roles in Glamours Girls and Evil Passion among others.
