Meanwhile, Barrow is expected to return to Bangul, the country’s capital city on Tuesday, January 24.
Barrow’s return comes after the past president Yahya Jammeh was ousted from the country to Equatorial Guinea on an exile.
Barrow’s spokesperson, Halifa Sallah, said the president is planning to return to The Gambia after the West African troops have secured the country and his predecessor has already gone on exile.
