Governor Ajimobi embarrasses himself in front of Lautech students

In what many have described as embarrassing, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state lashed out at students of the Ladoku Akintola University of Technology (Lautech) who came to protest the continued closure of their institution.

In the video made available by Premium Times, the governor who code-switched between Yoruba and English said the students should have come to beg instead of engaging in a protest which was met by audible rejection from the students.

Ajimobi vowed not to talk to the students again due to their attitude and even question the authenticity of the studentship of one of the protesters.
