What does pre-advised mean in shipping?

Many people order goods with free shipping from China and use such Asian mails as China Post Air Mail, Hong Kong Post, and Singapore Post and so on. In them, often shops and sellers provide tracking number on which it is possible to trace a parcel and to predict when it is brought. But some people don't know how to decipher some statuses. For example, what does the item is pre advised mean?

The item is pre advised - Aliexpress

The item is pre-advised means that the track number is ordered/is bought electronically (online preorder). And the pre-advised parcel isn't given yet i.e. it hasn't arrived on mail (the sender hasn't brought a parcel on mail yet and it isn't sent).
