Former minister Amina Mohammed resumes duty at UN office (photos, video)
The former minister of environment Amina Mohammed on Wednesday, January 4, resumed work as deputy secretary general at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Mohammed, a former secretary to the immediate past UN scribe was earlier appointed as a minister by President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2015.

However, in December 2015, she got a new appointment as the deputy secretary general of international agency.
During her tenure, Mohammed championed the Ogoni clean-up exercise which was flagged off by president Muhammadu Buhari, represented by vice president Yemi Osinbajo.
