According to the former governor of Lagos state, he would not do anything to undermine the success of APC, a party that he laboured to build with other concerned Nigerians.
He also vowed not to abandon his position as a progressive politician. He noted that in the bid to make Nigeria great again, it is quite natural for things to be amended and he has accepted this.
Tinubu’s words come just a day after reports hit the town that the date for the emergence of a proposed mega party being reportedly created by he and another APC chieftain Atiku Abubakar and the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was revealed.
A source in the report said seriously plans were afoot to ensure that the mega party emerged in the first quarter of the new year 2017.
Tinubu's absence at many top APC functions in the last few months have fueled the suspicions of Nigerians that he may be leaving the party soon.
